Gallery NAGO is an art gallery which exhibits modern art of Japanese "calligraphy". "Calligraphy" which has a Japanese image is one of the traditional art-forms. After searching for new styles of calligraphy, we at Gallery NAGO hope to exhibit unprecedented and new types of calligraphy that match the needs of modern day life spaces.
Unlike other exhibition galleries, here at Gallery NAGO, we propose to exhibit a kind of "calligraphy" unique only to Japan that the world will be envious of and which can be displayed in everyday life-spaces thereby matching the needs of modern day lifestyles.
This "calligraphy" gallery does not mean that we will only be exhibiting written works. We will also be proposing a modern art "scene" where collaboration exhibitions of paintings, photographs, and crafts are exhibited, and which includes spaces in the gallery such as a "new artist" corner in which new artists in many different genres have the chance to exhibit their work. In this way, "calligraphy" as an art may have the chance to influence and be influenced by other fields of art. We will be searching for writers and new artists who are ready for a challenge and exhibiting new works that are filled with ambition.

Gallery NAGO is an established gallery and not a rented gallery hall.
